Everything you need to bring your electricity costs under control

Ten tools that turn complex metering data into clear actions. Each answers one question that actually bothers you.

01 — Portfolio overview

Every supply point on one screen.

Your data is no longer scattered across portals and Excel files. One view of the whole portfolio — map, consumption, costs, status. The right people see the right information.

  • Every supply point on the map, coloured by status
  • Group by building, region or business unit
  • Permissions at group level — share access selectively

02 — Penalty avoidance

Know before the grid operator does.

Exceeding the contracted capacity means a penalty. Gridea tracks peaks in real time, warns before an exceedance and recommends the right contracted capacity.

  • Real-time peak power monitoring
  • A warning before the exceedance, not after the penalty
  • A recommendation for the optimal contracted capacity

Recommendation: raise the contracted power to 160 kW (+€14/mo) — you avoid the €340 penalty and also cover the winter peak. It pays for itself on the first overrun.
03 — Tariff optimisation

The right network tariff for every point.

Elektrilevi offers several network tariffs. The best one depends on your consumption pattern — and changes over the year. Gridea computes the cheapest each month.

  • Accounts for day/night and peak-power differences
  • A recommended switch + one-click apply
  • Every month again — because consumption changes

04 — Payback

Solar panels and battery — worth it or not?

Stop guessing. The calculator shows the payback period based on your actual consumption, accounting for the battery’s effect on self-consumption.

  • Based on your actual consumption profile
  • Models the battery’s effect on self-consumption
  • Payback period, investment and 15-year return

Assumptions

the calc uses 2026 Estonian charges excl VAT — Elektrilevi Võrk 2 day rate, renewable-energy charge, supply-security charge and excise; the energy price is the slider. The netting gain comes from network fees and taxes that apply only to consumption. Your actual split is computed in the portal from your real 15-minute data.

Figures exclude VAT. For VAT-registered businesses VAT is not a saving; private individuals and non-VAT-liable entities save the VAT as well.

05 — Connection capacity

Are you paying for the right fuse size?

Many companies pay for too large a connection capacity. Gridea shows 12 months of peak usage and tells you whether you can safely reduce it.

  • 12-month peak-usage analysis
  • A recommendation on connection capacity
  • Exact annual saving in euros

06 — Contract choice

Spot price or fixed?

See which would have been cheaper over the past year for your actual consumption — before you sign the next contract.

  • A side-by-side comparison with your consumption pattern
  • Cumulative cost over 12 months
  • A retrospective and a forecast scenario

07 — Impact measurement

Did your change help?

Changed the heating schedule or shifted consumption? Gridea confirms with real data whether it brought savings — not a guess, a number.

  • A before/after comparison from a chosen date
  • A weather-adjusted comparison
  • Confirmed savings in euros
Before / after — heating schedule change−29%
Before · March
After · April
Shifting night heating to a cheaper hour reduced consumption by 29% — confirmed with data, not a guess. Saving €186/mo.
08 — Anomalies

Catch it in a day, not a month.

A broken thermostat, an open window, forgotten ventilation. Gridea learns your patterns and warns the moment consumption deviates.

  • Learns daily and seasonal patterns
  • Email, SMS or Slack — your choice
  • Alerts routed by group to the right person

10 — Budgeting

Build a budget and track it as you go.

Build a consumption and cost forecast for your supply points from a temperature model, and compare actual consumption to the forecast, month by month — see immediately where you’re under or over budget.

  • An automatic forecast model from 8+ years of history
  • Actual vs forecast at month and day resolution
  • Choose a price model — fixed, NordPool or both
  • Uncertainty range and model accuracy (R², RMSE)
